About the jobWe are looking for a skilled and motivated Formulation Scientist to join our client's pharmaceutical development team, focusing on oral solid dosage forms for small molecules (New Chemical Entities; NCE). This role plays a key part in developing formulations and scalable processes from early clinical phases through to technical transfer.Your ResponsibilitiesPlan, perform, and document scientific experiments for formulation and process developmentDevelop robust formulations (e.g. capsules, film-coated tablets, sachets) and scalable manufacturing processesSupport GMP manufacturing and clinical supply productionTransfer processes to GMP Pilot Plant and TechOps sitesApply digital tools for experiment documentation and data handlingCollaborate in cross-functional scientific teams and contribute to strategic development goalsYour ProfileCompleted education as Pharmakant / Chemie-/Pharmatechnologe or a degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences (BSc/MSc)3–5 years of industry experience in formulation and process developmentExperience in GMP manufacturing is a strong advantageFluent in German and English (written and spoken)Strong documentation and digital skills (e.g. e-Lab Journal, data visualization tools)Independent, quality-focused, and collaborative working styleLocation: BaselStart Date: Flexible, ideally early 2026Workload: 80–100%Contract Duration: 1 year*Please note that we can only consider EU/Schengen applications, or valid Swiss permit
