Job Description

We wish to appoint a Payroll Assistant Manager, in our Outsourcing team, in Athens. For the right candidate, the position offers excellent advancement opportunities.

ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the day-to-day administration of medium to large sized multiple client payrolls with no supervisionIdentify, research, and resolve payroll variances during daily review and controlsResponsible for the accurate and timely completion of clients' obligations and payroll workflowCollaborate with HR, Finance, and other departments to streamline processes, ensure data integrity, and support company objectivesRespond to payroll-related and local labor legislation inquiries from clientsCreate and modify reports based on client needsProvide guidance in daily basis to payroll team members regarding payroll and labor legislation issues as well as complex payroll calculations related to retroactive payments, terminations, etc.

Provide performance management to ensure high standards of workEnsure compliance and accuracy with applicable local laws and regulationsMaintain confidentiality and data security standards for all payroll-related informationLooking for improvements related to efficiency and payroll best practices and provide feedbackStay updated on payroll regulations, labour laws and industry trendsAdminister and maintain payroll systems, ensure data integrity and implement system upgrades, enhancements and automation to improve operational efficiencyIdentification of business opportunities at existing clientsActive engagement on the development of new or existing products and servicesSuggest payroll policies and procedures, ensuring consistency and compliance across the organizationRequirementsBSc in Accounting, Economics or Business Administration (MSc in HR will be considered an asset)5 to 7 years of working experience in a payroll position.

Prior consulting experience will be preferredExcellent use of ERGANI / SEPENET / e-EFKA platformExcellent use of SCAN HRMS and Self-Service application.
