We combine cutting-edge diagnostics, digital care delivery, and a compassionate patient-first approach.About The RoleWe’re seeking a Founding Creative Director – Brand who will define the creative soul of MoldCo. This is a role for a consumer-grade creative leader with strong taste, a mastery of visual storytelling, and the ability to translate a complex health journey into clarity and emotional resonance. You will shape every expression of the MoldCo brand, from our website and app to our campaigns and content, and build the creative systems that guide the company for years to come.You are part brand architect, part experience designer, part creative strategist. You bring the intuition of a creative director, the craft of a designer, and the instincts of someone who deeply understands consumers and how design can change how they feel, think, and act.What You'll DoBrand & visual identityDefine and evolve MoldCo’s visual identity across all surfaces (digital, print, product, and campaigns).Create a brand that feels modern, trustworthy, and emotionally supportive to patients seeking answers.Develop a cohesive creative system that drives consistency in typography, color, imagery, layout, motion, and storytelling.Build brand guardrails and elevate the creative bar across the organization.Product & patient experienceArchitect clean, elegant, and intuitive digital experiences that feel consumer-grade.Design key surfaces across our website, patient app, onboarding, lab flows, dashboards, and content experiences.Simplify clinically complex concepts into clear, empathetic interactions that reduce cognitive load.Ensure the user experience feels guided, comforting, and distinctly MoldCo, not generic healthcare UI.Marketing & growthDesign high-performing ad assets, landing pages, and systems for user acquisition.Ensure brand and product feel seamlessly connected across all patient touchpoints.Design systemsBuild and maintain a scalable design system across surfaces.Define patterns, components, and frameworks that support rapid iteration.Lay the groundwork for a future design team and help recruit top talent as we scale.Qualifications5–8+ years of experience in art direction, brand design, or a hybrid design role at a DTC brand.Strong portfolio showing brand definition, creative campaigns, visual identity, and polished digital experiences.Experience working across web, app, and consumer-facing marketing assets.High taste level—strong visual instincts and the ability to elevate a brand to best-in-class quality.Expertise using Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and modern AI-enhanced tools for image/creative generation.Ability to translate complex, clinical information into simple, emotionally intuitive visuals.Experience designing for consumer health, wellness, or high-empathy user segments is a plus.Strong creative leadership: articulating vision, giving direction, and inspiring execution.Comfortable moving fast, making decisions with incomplete information, and iterating rapidly.Excellent communication and collaboration across creative, product, engineering, clinical, and growth teams.Sounds like you?You care deeply about designing experiences that patients feel grateful for.You love confronting your designs to the team and our patients and welcome feedback.You’re motivated by solving real, lived health problems with clarity and compassion.You set a high bar for craft and push the team around you to do the same.You move quickly, gather context fast, and propose solutions without waiting for instruction.You’re energized by talking to users and translating needs into elegant design.You can zoom out to brand and zoom in to component details without losing momentum.You collaborate well across teams and don’t bring ego to the work.You want to help build something that fundamentally improves patient lives and to do it from the ground floor.
