As the Financial Planning Analyst, you will help us understand our business and support our growth plans. You will play a significant role in the monthly and quarterly planning and reporting processes while building partnership with various teams across the organization.ResponsibilitiesAssist the Senior Financial Analyst with updating OpEx templated and departmental KPI scorecards for the month end close process and financial reportingPartner with Accounting to review month end close details, and ensure that operating expense accruals are properly book by department and GL classificationResearch and provide explanations on any budget versus actual variances in operating expense detailsCollaborate with department owners to help understand vendor costs, and ensure that billed invoices are accurateContribute to the updating of sales, margin, and inventory receipt projections from Planning and cross functional teamsMonitor requisitions, purchase orders, and vendor invoices across the OpEx approval chain to ensure that the departmental spend is aligned with budget and forecast expectationsPrepare and quantify financial cost projections for new vendors and technology platforms with department owners, and ensure that the projections are captured in the financial modelFormulate ad-hoc analytics by utilizing different data sources as needed for department owners and the Finance departmentAnalyze and interpret data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvementValidate and reconcile invoices from external service vendorsRole Requirements3+ years of Financial Planning and Analysis experienceStrong analytical skills with high attention to detail and the ability to summarize large amounts of dataProven time management and multiple task management capabilitiesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to be flexible and adapt quickly to shifting priorities and business needsExperience in e-commerce, retail, apparel or consumer sectorsAdvanced competency in Excel and PowerPointBA|BS degree in Finance or AccountingEnglish, additional language(s) an advantage.BenefitsNew State-of-the-art HQ located in Beverly HillsFormalized career paths for continued professional growthComprehensive health insurance across Medical, Dental and Vision401k match, with immediate vesting upon eligibilityWeekly catered lunches & fully-stock kitchen pantry!Opportunities to travel for trade shows and vendor meetingsSummer Fridays Early DepartureTeam bonding events and programsAttractive employee discounts!Fashion Nova, LLC, and subsidiaries thereof, is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
