FP&A and Commercial Business Partner

Job Description

Job SummaryResponsible for driving financial planning and analysis for KSA as a country, including all commercial activities as well as two production plants. The incumbent works closely with commercial, functional as well operations teams to provide insights and drive strategic decision making. This includes but is not limited to monthly business review and performance tracking, financial modeling as well as the annual budget and forecast.Duties And Responsibilities Lead the annual budget, monthly and quarterly forecasting, and long-term planning processes. Lead the financial reporting for monthly to-market and in-market sales with variances analysis vs budgets. Prepare monthly business reviews and handle monthly management reporting, variance analysis, and executive summaries. Conduct financial modeling, profitability analysis, and cost tracking. Identify performance trends and recommend actions to improve financial outcomes. Build and maintain dynamic financial models to support decision-making. Partner with sales, marketing, and operations to evaluate business performance and guide strategic decisions. Provide sales analysis relevant to area, product mix, profitability per product, and productivity per head. Deliver financial support for in-market contracts negotiations, new product launches, and investment cases. Evaluate and monitor ROI for marketing campaigns, channel strategies, and commercial initiatives.Professional Knowledge Solid understanding of financial statements, management accounting and reporting, and FP&A processes – budget and forecast preparation and tracking incl solid variance analysis. Proficient in financial modeling, scenario planning, and profitability analysis. Familiarity with revenue recognition principles, cost allocation, and overall P&L management. Understanding of working capital management and cash flow forecasting. Deep understanding of key commercial principles such as pricing, channel strategy, and product lifecycle. Pharmaceutical Business acumen – Gx as well as Biosimilars. Knowledge of sales performance metrics (Revenue per customer, Revenue per head, Revenue per channel/geographic area). Familiarity with marketing and promotional effectiveness. Awareness of commercial KPIs, market dynamic and changing in assumptions. Manufacturing Finance experience/costing experience.Main Competencies Strategic thinking and strong analytical skills. Commercial Insight and business acumen. Advanced Excel & PP skills – strong storytelling abilities.Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. Minimum 8 years of progressive FP&A and Finance business partner experience in the pharmaceutical / life science space experience with a multinational company in KSA a strong plus. Proficiency in written, read and spoken English and Arabic.
