Responsibly is a fast-growing and VC-backed start-up operating at the cutting edge of AI and sustainability, and with a vision of making every purchase in the world responsible.We're founded by serial entrepreneurs with previous successes like Ofload, Dixa, Neurons, and more, and are funded by some of Europe's top VCs and angels.We’re at the most exciting part of our journey (yet!) where the product is being picked up by some of the biggest companies out there. The growth journey ahead is exciting, and ahead of Series A, we're ready to strengthen our financial and planning foundation by bringing in an experienced CFO on a fractional basis (2-3 days per week)TasksWe need an experienced CFO to really level up our financial management of the company. Since we're still small (15 people), we're looking for someone with experience who can step into the role maybe 2-3 days per week.Lead all things money:Accounting, payroll, invoices, cashflow, ESOP, and all admin around money coming in and money going out. This is already fairly small, and automated, and mostly outsourced, but you'll take charge of it, analyzing it, and optimizing it so we're ready to scale.All internal financial modelsSupport reporting and investor relations:Investor reporting, P&L and cash flow models, internal reporting. Including supporting different functions on what to report on, and how to do it.Board operations - how do we best manage our board meetings, memos, prep, etc.Lead and support on our internal planning and strategyYou'll join the leadership team and you'll be one of our CEO's primary sparring partners on strategy, hiring, planning, etc.Lead our internal governance and leadership coordination.Lead fundraising operations for our Series A and beyond:Owning the data roomOwning the planning and investor listsJoin and support investor callsRequirementsMBB or similar financial experience in scale-up: you are a high performer and have demonstrated you're excellent with finance, strategy, analytics and generally problem solving.Entrepreneurial experience or ambition: you've either been through the journey before, or you want to, and knows what it takes.Analytical and structured: it goes without saying that excel and modelling is a language you speak fluently. You're super structured and can easily navigate complexity.Attention to detail: You can easily identify the odd number out when looking at a financial report.Growth mindset and ambition: you want to be the best at what you do, love to learn, and thrive in a fast-moving environmentHigh degree of ownership: you take ownership of your work, lead it independently, and attack unfamiliar problems with enthusiasm and a bias for action.Get-sh*t-done attitude: you’re impatient, results-focused, and want to execute and get your hands dirty.
