Job DescriptionPosition Overview We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Fractional Chief Marketing Officer to scale our organization and elevate our market position within the management consulting and private equity ecosystems. The ideal candidate brings deep B2B professional services marketing expertise with specific experience in the private equity and management consulting sectors. We are seeking a long term contract for 1 to 2 days/week Key Responsibilities As the Fractional Chief Marketing Officer, you will develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with our growth objectives and private equity partnership model. You will build brand awareness and thought leadership within the private equity community, creating differentiated value propositions that highlight our unique consulting approach and proven results. Your role will involve designing targeted marketing programs to deepen relationships with private equity firms and their portfolio companies, developing industry-specific campaigns, and optimizing our digital presence. You will also support business development efforts through compelling proposals and marketing materials, manage public relations and media relationships, and mentor internal staff to build marketing competencies within the organization. Required Qualifications The ideal candidate will have 15+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience, including 7+ years at the executive level. A proven track record of marketing to private equity firms and experience within professional services is essential. You should have successfully scaled B2B organizations in the $50M-$250M revenue range and be familiar with complex, relationship-driven sales processes. Expertise and Skills We are looking for someone with a deep understanding of the private equity ecosystem and management consulting services. You should be proficient in account-based marketing strategies and modern marketing technologies, with strong business acumen and the ability to translate strategy into executable plans. Exceptional communication skills and a data-driven mindset are crucial for this role. Preferred Qualifications Ideal candidates will have prior experience as a fractional or part-time executive and a network of relationships within the private equity community. Experience with implementation consulting, successful rebranding initiatives, and speaking engagements at industry events is also preferred. An MBA or advanced degree in marketing, business, or a related field will be considered an asset.
