Fraud and Risk Manager

We run a global marketplace and work with multiple PSPs, so we need fast, fair decisions for legitimate users while blocking fraud and abuse.We’re looking for a hands-on Risk & Fraud Manager to lead daily risk operations and design scalable fraud controls that protect our marketplace without slowing it down. If you thrive on tough decisions, structured thinking, and turning chaos into clear systems — you’ll fit right in.👉 BREAKDOWN:Lead the Risk & Fraud team: coaching, SLAs, and decision consistency.Own day-to-day risk decisions across seller onboarding, buyer transaction reviews, enforcement actions, and high-risk withdrawals/refunds.Personally handle complex investigations and calibrate decisions across the team.Build a proactive fraud prevention approach: define top fraud vectors, set practical controls (rules, thresholds, standard outcomes), analyze fraud impact and continuously reduce false positives.Drive automation with Product/Engineering: improve case tooling, event visibility, and workflows so the team spends less time on repeat manual checks.Partner with Payments, Support, Trust & Resolution, and Supply to keep decisions fast, consistent, and aligned across the marketplace.Produce clear reporting on fraud trends, root causes, and control effectiveness, and turn insights into measurable improvements.Own escalations and incident response for high-risk cases (including PSP-sensitive issues).👉 SKILLS YOU’LL NEED:4+ years of experience in fraud operations, transaction monitoring, payment risk, or marketplace safety.Experience working with PSPs or digital marketplaces.People leadership experience: coaching, QA/calibration, escalations, and performance management.Strong investigation skills with structured documentation and confident decision-making.Proven ability to turn operational knowledge into systems: playbooks, rules, automation proposals, standard outcomes.Strong analytical mindset with the ability to define KPIs, read dashboards, and prioritize risk controls based on impact.Ability to work cross-functionally with Payments, Product, Engineering, Support, Supply, and Trust teams.Professional proficiency in English.👉 BONUS POINTS:Hands-on experience with PSP risk tooling and chargeback management.Experience working with device, IP, and behavioral risk signals.Experience building lightweight rules engines, risk tiers, or operational dashboards in lean teams.Experience in high-growth online marketplaces.Passion for gaming and digital economies.👉 WHY ELDORADO.GG:Founded in 2018, Eldorado.gg is a leading marketplace for in-game items, accounts, and services.
