Produce Regional Merchandiser

Essential Job DutiesSupport regional managers with writing ordersMaintain proper pricing Maintain and review department marginsMaintain inventory sheets for departmentsReplenish products through proper buying procedures. Ensure product orders are timely and accurate to monitor inventory turnsEnsure the product mix meets varied customer dietary needs and requestsFind placement for all new productsMonitor product quality and freshness and ensure proper rotation or product.

Maintain accurate department signage and pricingBuild displays according to movement, promotions, profitability, value and regional guidanceParticipate in regional sales promotionsEducate dept Managers on new, local, and private label productsFollow department procedures for preparing, storing, rotating, and stocking of productMaintain and monitor department waste, spoilage, sweep, and transfer logsFollow and comply with established procedures, including Weights and Measures, health and sanitation, and safe work practices.
