Freelance 3D Designer - Retail/Spatial/Experiential

Our client, a global luxury fashion and lifestyle brand celebrated for its modern craftsmanship and iconic retail presence, is seeking a Freelance 3D Designer to join their Global Visual Experience team.Long term contractor role$45-55/hr - weekly pay40 hours a week - 3 days in office and 2 days remoteThis role plays a key part in shaping physical retail environments and immersive brand experiences that reflect the brand’s heritage and forward-thinking design philosophy. The designer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate brand storytelling into elevated spatial concepts and global retail executions.The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in spatial and experiential design, an eye for materiality and detail, and the ability to move seamlessly between concept development and technical documentation.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and support the development of retail and experiential environments from concept through execution.Design and visualize spatial layouts, fixtures, and 3D environments to communicate design intent.Research and develop materials, finishes, and furnishings that align with the brand’s aesthetic and sustainability goals.Create and present concept decks, renderings, and technical documentation for internal and global partner reviews.Collaborate with global design, visual merchandising, and fabrication teams to ensure design consistency and quality.Adapt design concepts across store formats, regions, and tiers to maintain a cohesive global identity.Qualifications3–5 years of experience in retail, interior, or experiential design within luxury, fashion, or lifestyle industries.Bachelor’s degree in architecture, interior design, product design, or a related field.Strong understanding of spatial planning, fixture design, and fabrication processes.Advanced proficiency in Rhino, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.Experience with KeyShot, V-Ray, or Revit preferred.Excellent organizational, presentation, and project coordination skills.Collaborative, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, highly creative global environment.This freelance opportunity offers the chance to contribute to one of the world’s most recognized luxury brands—helping shape the next evolution of their global retail and experiential design vision.
