Freelance Anime Animator

This role is ideal for a skilled freelance animator with a passion for anime, specifically the shonen genre. You will be responsible for creating a high-quality 2D pilot trailer for a personal project, with the potential for ongoing collaboration. The project requires a creative professional who can capture the dynamic energy and visual style characteristic of shonen anime. The work is fully remote, and you will collaborate closely with the project creator to ensure the final product meets the vision and standards expected of a professional anime trailer. The deadline for delivery is within one month.Responsibilities Design and animate a 2D pilot trailer in the shonen anime style Collaborate with the project creator to interpret storyboards and creative direction Develop dynamic character animations, action sequences, and expressive visual storytelling Ensure all animation assets are delivered in high quality and on schedule Incorporate feedback and revisions efficiently to meet project milestones Maintain consistency in style, pacing, and tone throughout the trailerSkills And Requirements Proven experience in 2D animation, with a strong portfolio demonstrating anime or shonen-style work Proficiency in industry-standard animation software (e.g., Toon Boom, Adobe Animate, TVPaint, or similar) Strong illustration and character design skills, with an understanding of shonen anime aesthetics Ability to manage the full animation pipeline, from concept to final output Excellent communication skills and responsiveness, especially in a remote work environment Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines Experience with pilot or trailer production is a plus Availability to start immediately and commit to a one-month timelineAbout TwineTwine is a leading freelance marketplace connecting top freelancers, consultants, and contractors with companies needing creative and tech expertise.
