We operate at the crossroads of consulting, interim management, training, coaching and tech, with systems thinking, co-creation and partnerships in our DNA.What you will doProvide advisory services on cyber security governance, risk management and compliance frameworks.Conduct gap-analyses, risk assessments and compliance audits (e.g., standards ISO 31000, ISO 27001, ISO 27002, ISO 27005, ISO 22301, CyFun framework and regulations NIS2, GDPR, DORA, AI Act).Develop and implement security policies, procedures and frameworks tailored to clients’ needs.Lead audit preparation, awareness training and stakeholder engagement efforts.Collaborate with technical teams to translate business & regulatory requirements into actionable security controls.Act as trusted partner to stakeholders and support decision-making around security and compliance.Profile we’re looking forMinimum 5 years’ experience in cyber security, risk or compliance consulting.Strong knowledge of regulations and frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIS2, GDPR, and ideally DORA.Demonstrated ability to bridge technical security concepts with business/strategic risk thinking.Excellent communication skills in English; Dutch is essential; French is a plus.Proven track record of leading projects and working independently as well as in teams.Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor) are a strong plus.Comfortable working in a dynamic, growth-oriented consultancy environment aligned with sustainability and risk management.What we offerA key role in a forward-thinking consultancy that blends risk, compliance and sustainability.Flexible working environment with autonomy and ownership of your engagements.Opportunity to work with clients across sectors and to shape frameworks and processes from the ground up.Competitive remuneration and growth opportunities, in line with your seniority and impact.Freelancer contractReady to make a difference?If you’re passionate about helping organisations strengthen their digital resilience while aligning with sustainability and governance values, we want to hear from you.Send your CV or LinkedIn profile to hello@brightphoenix.be or apply via the link below.
