Role Description This is a contract Freelance Journalist role based in Richmond, VIC, with hybrid work arrangements allowing for some work from home. The role involves writing and reporting football-related news, crafting press releases, conducting thorough research, and delivering high-quality content within deadlines. Responsibilities also include collaborating with other team members and occasionally engaging in broadcasting tasks to provide coverage that supports and uplifts the football industry. Qualifications Experience in Writing, News Writing, and crafting engaging Press ReleasesStrong Research skills to gather and verify informationKnowledge or experience in Broadcasting is an advantageExcellent time management and ability to meet deadlinesPassion for football and understanding of the football industry is a plusStrong communication skills and the ability to work independently or collaborativelyRelevant qualifications or experience in Journalism, Communication, or related fields
