The aim is to deliver meaningful work for major consumer brands and grow together — in craft and as people.If you’re motivated, curious, and ready to take ownership, I want to meet you.What you’ll do (scope depends on assignment)Bring order to product data and make PIM ways-of-working actually land in teams.Shape data models & taxonomies, and set up governance, validations, workflows.Drive channel/country readiness, migrations, and integrations with ERP/DAM/e-com (with partners).Use tools as means (Akeneo, Bluestone PIM, Salsify or others) — business-first always.Work with me as your mentor/QA; you run delivery, I safeguard quality and remove friction.Raise the bar (and outgrow me): challenge assumptions (including mine), turn ambiguity into a crisp plan, and leave every team better than you found it. You got this!What you’ll getMentorship & warm QA — step-by-step guidance; avoid early pitfalls.Method & cadence — People > Process > Data > Technology, clear templates, regular check-ins.Real ownership — autonomy with a safety net; impact that’s visible.Flexibility — ~2–4 days/week, remote/hybrid (NL/EU), engagements throughout 2026.Who you are (experience welcome, not required)Strong drive, learning mindset, and ownership.Clear communicator in English and Dutch (Dutch is a must for now) who collaborates well with business and tech.Structured thinker who cares about quality and people.EU time zone; freelance/independent contractor, or interested in becoming independent.Nice-to-haves (optional):Experience in retail/e-commerce or manufacturing (catalog/content ops, merchandising).PIM platforms: Akeneo, Bluestone PIM, InRiver, or others.Data modeling patterns: variants & inheritance, reference entities, readiness scoring.Governance & quality: validation rules, approvals, normalization, audit/logs.Agile/Scrum & consulting: backlog shaping, stakeholder facilitation, measurable outcomes.Localization & syndication: translation flows, channel/marketplace feeds (e.g., Channable/ChannelEngine/Productsup).Migration basics: mapping/cleansing, CSV/JSON pipelines, delta/rollback.How this worksThis posting is connection-first.
