Job Description

Freelance Project Manager (Packaging) A Project Management function under the supervision of the hierarchical manager, ensures the efficient execution of projects. Responsibilities Takes responsibility and coordinates packaging projects within the set timelines, budget, consumption of resources and scope. Project management from A-Z. Monitors and reports the project process, ownership, progress, budgets and invoicing within the entire project organization; Identifies project risks at an early stage and takes measures to manage, monitor or escalate them if necessary; Manages changes in scope from initiation, through commercial negotiations, to implementation; Involves all relevant subject matter experts (SMEs) within each department of the organization to ensure all aspects of the project. Skills: Excellent leadership and coaching abilities. Capable of maintaining a helicopter view — balancing technical depth with strategic oversight. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Hands-on and technically confident, while primarily focused on people management. Proficient in MS Office and project documentation. Languages: Dutch strongly preferred; English acceptable. Strongly Preferred Experience GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and/or regulated industry background. Experience in industrial sectors such as Food, Pharma, Packaging, or Chemical. Exposure to high-pressure, client-driven projects where on-time, compliant delivery is essential.
