What You’ll DoShipper Sales & Account ManagementProactively identify and contact U.S. shippers who need truckload freight moved (outbound calls, email, LinkedIn, referrals).Build and grow a personal portfolio of recurring shipper accounts in our target lanes and industries.Quote truckload freight within agreed margin guidelines and close profitable loads.Provide proactive, high-touch communication to shippers—status updates, issue alerts, and delivery confirmations—to turn new shippers into long-term partners.End-to-End Load ExecutionReceive and evaluate load tenders; accept/decline based on capacity, risk, and company rules.Post and manage loads on DAT and other channels as needed.Source, negotiate, and secure carriers at rates that protect margin.Dispatch and track shipments from pickup to delivery, keeping all parties informed.Handle operational issues (delays, missed appointments, TONU, layover, detention) and escalate major problems when needed.Carrier Management & SafetyVet carriers for authority, insurance, and safety using our verification process and tools.Make book / no-book decisions in line with standards and risk guidelines.Build and maintain a preferred carrier base by lane/region to improve reliability and service.Systems, Data & ProcessWork inside our TMS and Microsoft 365 (Teams, Outlook, SharePoint) to keep load data accurate and up to date.Ensure all documents (RCs, BOLs, PODs, accessorial approvals) are collected, stored, and easy to find.Follow established SOPs and actively contribute ideas to improve processes, automation, and workflows.Collaboration & Leadership (Founding Hire Responsibilities)Provide clear daily/weekly updates on loads, margin, service issues, and lessons learned.Give feedback to the Founder on lanes, customers, carriers, and tools that are working or need improvement.Help lay the groundwork for future hires (junior brokers, operations support) and be ready to help train/mentor them as we grow.What You Bring3+ years of experience in freight brokerage or U.S. truckload logistics (3PL or asset-based).Proven ability to move profitable freight: sourcing shippers, sourcing carriers, negotiating, and managing loads end to end.Strong understanding of U.S. truckload brokerage basics: pricing, capacity, carrier safety/insurance, accessorials, and common service issues.Experience with at least one TMS and load board (DAT experience is a strong plus).Strong English communication skills (spoken and written).Ability and willingness to work on-site in Cairo on U.S. business hours.High ownership mindset: you think in terms of “my lanes, my customers, my carriers, my results.”Comfortable in an early-stage, evolving environment where processes improve constantly and your input matters.Work ScheduleOn-site from our Cairo location.Aligned to U.S. business hours to support live freight operations and real-time decision-making.Compensation & GrowthCompetitive Cairo-based base salary in EGP.Performance-based commission tied to the net margin you generate on the freight you manage.Clear, transparent compensation structure discussed in detail during the interview process.Ground-floor opportunity to grow into a Team Lead / Operations Manager role as the brokerage scales and new hires are added.How to ApplyIf you’re a proven freight professional who wants to run operations, drive performance, and help build a modern brokerage from the ground up, we’d love to hear from you.Please apply via LinkedIn with:Your CV / résuméA brief note describing:Your experience with U.S. truckload freightYour favorite lanes/regions and equipment typesA recent example where you turned a single load or small account into repeat business
