If you bring relevant experience, a strong customer focus, and enjoy collaborating with colleagues and clients, we’d love to hear from you.The physical work location is at Centerbakken 1, Vejle.In the role of Freight Forwarder, your responsibilities will include:coordinate and manage export shipments, ensuring timely and accurate processing.handle both LCL and FCL export shipments, including booking, documentation, and coordination.liaise with shipping lines, carriers, and other logistics partners to secure bookings and optimize cargo flow.prepare and verify export documentation, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, and customs declarations.monitor and track shipments, proactively addressing any delays or issues.communicate with customers, providing updates and resolving inquiries related to export shipments.collaborate with internal departments (e.g., sales, customer service, warehouse) to ensure smooth operations.support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance gateway efficiency and customer satisfaction andoversee the training and development of apprentices, ensuring they gain the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in export sea freight operations.To be considered for this position, we are looking for someone who:Bring freight forwarding education and at least 3 years of experience in ocean freight.Thrives in a dynamic industry where no two days are alike.Has experience with temperature-controlled shipments and GDP compliance.Is comfortable using IT systems.Can communicate professionally in both Danish and English.And from us, you can expect:A position in an organization with extensive development opportunities.Opportunities for continuous learning, increased responsibility, and sharing ideas.A collaborative and open work environment with supportive colleagues.Being part of THE logistics company for the world.Canteen, health insurance, internal courses, and more.Workplace: DHL Global Forwarding, Centerbakken 1, 7100 VejleWorking hours: The position is a full-time position (37 hours excl. lunch)The compensation package: The base salary is determined by your qualifications and competencies. If the work place is Denmark then the position is graded and sit within a predefined payband.
