Join our team at Hillebrand Gori and contribute to our success in delivering 🌍 world-class logistics solutions 📦 to our valued customers.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport administration of Ocean Freight (OFR) Ops / Customer Service (CS) plans and processes to provide ocean freight forwarding for internal and external customersGather and provide requirements of freight control center, and assist operations team with details, information and instructions for operational performanceProvide allocation and reservations of freight on planned line haulAscertain domestic and/ or international freight rate on incoming and outgoing materials and products based on analysis of tariff rates, freight classifications, delivery schedules and deadlinesRespond to queries, gather information for customer visits and participate in customer visits to maintain close business relationship with existing clients and enhance customer retentionAssist in responding to pricing enquiries in an efficient and competitive mannerPrepare and submit relevant documents for shipping tendersCollate, record information and handle day-to-day shipment documentation for freight forwardingTrack account performances and provide monthly reports to team membersExecute tasks and activities while ensuring effective resource management and optimizing productivity for the day-to-day operationsIdentify and resolve recurring issues, and suggest modifications to OFR Ops/CS work methods focusing on increasing effectiveness and efficiencyMay provide functional guidance, advice or training to less experienced positionsIn Area Of OFR ProductCreate and/or confirm transport orders, perform and optimize bookingsPrepare, control, and distribute all required Import/Export documentsIdentify performance issues of suppliers, and propose solutions to improve performanceUpdate Customs shipment information and physical status, resolve customer issues and incidents  Skills/RequirementsBachelors Degree or equivalent experience/qualification2+ years of Freight forwarding / logistics / supply chain experienceDetail oriented and strong follow-up skillsStrong communication skillsStrong computer skills (Excel, Outlook, Teams)    You’ll Be Rewarded In Many Ways, Such AsBelong to a diverse and dynamic culture that promotes inclusion, growth, and developmentParticipate in comprehensive compensation (competitive salary and bonus plan), benefits, generous PTO plan, and an RRSP planEnjoy a hybrid work environment Pay Range- $51,431-85,718k CAD total compensation package.To learn more about Hillebrand Gori, please click HERE.
