The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality French language instruction, fostering a positive learning environment, and supporting students’ academic and personal development in line with the school’s curriculum and standards.Key ResponsibilitiesTeach French language to secondary school students across various levels.Develop and deliver engaging and effective lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards.Assess and evaluate students’ progress through assignments, tests, and examinations.Provide additional academic support where needed to help students achieve learning objectives.Maintain classroom discipline and create a conducive learning environment.Prepare teaching materials, notes, and resources to enhance learning outcomes.Participate in departmental meetings, school activities, and professional development sessions.Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student performance and behavior.Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student progress.Encourage student participation, curiosity, and appreciation for the French language and culture.RequirementsBachelor’s Degree in French, Education, Linguistics, or a related field.Teaching certification (TRCN certification is an added advantage).Minimum of 2–3 years teaching experience in a secondary school setting.Strong command of the French language (spoken and written).Ability to create engaging lesson plans and manage diverse classrooms.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.Passion for education and student development.Proficiency in using educational technology and digital tools is an advantage.Preferred SkillsCreativity in lesson delivery.Strong organizational and time-management skills.Ability to inspire and motivate students.Patience, empathy, and adaptability.
