We are looking for an experienced, motivated, and enthusiastic Workshop Controller, to join our busy dealership at Tweed Heads Volkswagen. As a Workshop Controller, you will be someone who enjoys a challenge, working in a team environment carrying out practical and hands on activities.

The Role EntailsManage daily tasks, productivity and efficiency for a team of techniciansPrioritise Repair Orders in the workshop to ensure on time completionAssist with Technical problem solvingSuggest additional work that is needed to the Service Adviser Team so the customer can be notifiedMake certain that work repair orders are completed correctly for warranty procedures and seek clarification if necessaryMaintain OEM workshop tools and equipment; follow safety practices; notify management if tools need replacement or new tools requiredAssist in expediting of parts orders and notify service advisor if delays are expected or if a part needs to be orderedGive special attention to repeat repairs, so the problem is correct this time and future comebacks are avoidedCompliance with the procedures and policiesWhat We Are Looking ForRelevant vehicle trade qualificationsPrevious workshop controller experience preferred not essentialA current driver's licenceAir-Conditioning Licence preferred not essentialASCIS & AUVIS Licence preferred not essentialAbility to follow work, health and safety policies and proceduresDemonstrate care and attention to detailGood communication skills and have a positive can-do attitudeCan work well within large teams and follow processes and instructionsBenefitsCommitment to development and mentoring from your team!Access discounted rates on Bupa Private Health Insurance, prioritizing your well-beingExclusive discounts on vehicles, parts and servicingBenefit from our Employee Assistance Program (EAP), providing support and resources during challenging timesLifestyle discounts, including Gym memberships and retail discountsPaid parental leave to support you and your family
