This opportunity is open exclusively to Nation members and is structured as an 18-month leadership development program within the Event Centre Department.The Trainee will work closely under the Director of Entertainment and Event Centre leadership team, gaining comprehensive, hands-on experience in event operations, staff supervision, and guest services management. Upon successful completion of the program, the participant will transition into the Front of House Operations Manager role.Education And Experience Strong interest in live events and hospitality management. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to multitask and work in fast-paced environments. Willingness to learn, take initiative, and grow through mentorship. Good computer literacy (Microsoft Office; event management software an asset).Knowledge, Skills And AbilitiesKey Learning & Development AreasThrough structured mentorship and training, the Trainee will gain skills in: Managing Front of House operations during live events, concerts, and conferences. Coordinating usher, merchandise, and hospitality staff scheduling and payroll. Supporting internal event coordination, quoting, invoicing, and settlements. Ensuring guest safety, satisfaction, and compliance with emergency procedures. Learning venue management systems including Opera PMS, Ticketmaster, and Flex. Supervising and motivating team members to deliver exceptional customer service. Developing leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
