While we do share a single medical record that allows us to collaborate and coordinate care across all locations and providers, more importantly, we share a common belief and set of principles that guide us as we care for our patients.That’s the Sight360 difference!RequirementsThe Front Desk Coordinator will provide the highest level of customer service to patients, fellow employees and referral sources through the coordination and administration of the “front office” activities.

Responsibilities

Typical responsibilities include all aspects of the clinic administrative operations from scheduling appointments, validating insurance and payment authorization. Provide efficient cash collection through excellent reimbursement practices while ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations and established Company policies and compliance programs.

Essential Functions And ResponsibilitiesServe patients by scheduling visits, maintaining EMR records, accounts and greeting them for their appointmentsKeep patient appointments on schedule by validating eligibility, initiating and following up on prior authorizations, and notifying appropriate staff of patient arrivalComfort patients by anticipating their needs, answering their questions, maintaining a clean and organized reception area, and maintaining inventory of basic suppliesEnsure availability of treatment information by receiving, filing and retrieving patient records and mail quickly and completelyMaintain patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating insurance and personal financial informationProtect patient rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial informationMaintain operations by following processes, procedures and reporting necessary changesAccept deliveries and route them to appropriate departments when requiredAnswer incoming callsContribute to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as neededReview charts and reach out to providers as needed to verify or validate ordersWork at multiple facilities within the market as neededQualifications2-3 years of clerical/reception experience in a medical office settingEMR ExperienceAbility to type 40 to 50 WPMBilingual (English/Spanish) preferredSkills And AbilitiesProficiency with standard office software applications (Outlook, Microsoft Office ®)

Salary Range

USD 140,000 - 180,000 per year
