Responsible for correct balancing of cash and credit transactions from front house system. Have a full knowledge of all bedrooms, their location and what they consist of. Allocation of arrivals for next days business. Knowledge of complete days business. Handle reservation calls where required. Knowledge of local amenities and local transport. Full knowledge of all bedroom rates and what they entail. Correctly balance front office system at end of shift. Full knowledge of all departments opening and closing times. Complete knowledge of telephone system and all the different extensions of the hotel.
