Applicants must already have the right to work in Ireland; we’re unable to sponsor visa applications for this role.Job DescriptionWe’re looking for a Front‑end Web Developer to join us at a very exciting time of transformation. The entire Click&Go Holidays website architecture is evolving to server‑side rendering (SSR) with a modern React/Next.js stack. Our development team has already rolled this out in several key areas and is now embarking on a complete rewrite of the booking funnel, alongside a move to a headless CMS that will power future scalability and performance.This is your opportunity to shape how thousands of users discover and book their holidays online. You’ll work with Node.js and React in conjunction with Storybook and Jest for unit testing, while still applying solid fundamentals in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS to build beautiful, responsive interfaces.Primary Responsibilities·        Build new user‑facing features and flows in React/Next.js ·        Contribute to our evolving SSR architecture and headless content platform.·        Ship high‑quality, reusable components and patterns via our design system/Storybook.·        Ensure accessibility (WCAG 2.2 AA) and performance , with a mobile‑first mindset.·        Collaborate with UX on feasibility and implementation details; give and receive design/dev feedback.·        Integrate with REST/GraphQL APIs·        Write automated tests and participate in code reviews.·        Optimise for SEO and internationalisation (SSR/SSG, metadata, structured data).·        Use CI/CD and feature flags to release safely·        Partner with Back‑end (PHP/Laravel) and DevOps (AWS) to diagnose issues and improve reliability.·        Champion usability best practice and continuous improvement across the funnel.Essential Knowledge, Skills and ExperienceMust‑haves:Strong HTML5/CSS3 and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.Solid React experience and familiarity with Next.js (routing, data‑fetching, SSR/SSG).Proven experience creating responsive interfaces that meet accessibility standards.Good testing habits and comfort with Git‑based workflows and CI pipelines.2–3 years’ professional front‑end experience, or equivalent capability.Nice to have:Experience with server‑side rendering, Node.js, and headless CMS integration.Performance tuning for Core Web Vitals and real‑user monitoring (RUM).Experience with CSS‑in‑JS; Storybook and design systems.Knowledge of PHP enough to collaborate with a PHP back‑end.Experience with analytics, A/B testing, and experimentation.
