This is a role to work on high-level, complex projects with large-scaleand high-impact systems.A strong predictor for success will be evident in a candidate who:Excellent learning skillsGetting things done with high velocityAbility to accept and offer constructive criticismResponsibilities for a Software Developer will include:Designing and writing clean, testable, and maintainable codeDelivering new features, fixing defects, and improving the existing codebaseMentoring team members and modeling best coding practicesOptimize application for maximum speed and scalability.Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.Research new technology and ideas to enhance website and commerce functions.Working closely with other Developers, Product Managers, Designers, Testers and BusinessStakeholders to understand and gather requirementsExtensive knowledge of web accessibility and front-end performanceDesire to deliver work in a fast-paced agile environmentWhat you’ll need to succeed:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent experience.5+ years of work experience in front end web developmentProficient understanding of the following:Web markup, mainly HTML5, CSS3, including W3C validation and complianceCSS pre-processor LESS and SASSFront-end frameworks with strong working knowledge of BootstrapClient-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery and ReactWorking knowledge with Next.JS will be a huge plusCross-browser compatibility issues and debugging methodology.Code versioning tools, such as GitHave a sharp eye and attention to detail for both the visual rendering and codingWrite unit, integration and end-to-end testsKnowledge of GraphQL and REST APIsAbility to implement responsive design across all devices and platforms, and debug complexlayout/styling issuesExtensive knowledge of web accessibility and front-end performanceDesire to deliver work in a fast-paced agile environmentWe look forward to hearing from you!We strive to build a diverse team of individuals with a broad range of experience and perspectives.
