Service Desk Analyst

Our Dublin based client are looking for a Level 1 Service Desk Analyst to join their team on a daily rate contract basis Position is with a well established company with a strong brand name and market reputation This will be an initial 6 month contract with view to extend for longer terms Responsibilities Working with Service Desk Lead for IT Service Operational functions and work for the processes such as Incident Management, Service Request Fulfillment and Configuration Management. Follow and meet the service level targets for the response & resolution SLA's for Service desk.

Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting of IT equipment, software and hardware. Respond to user queries and requests for IT over email, phone and in person in a timely and fast mannerEngage with different teams / domain members in IT for incidents and resolutions Escalate incidents as per the escalation procedure and SLA's. Coordinate with service providers and business users for incidents and Problems which needs tests and prompt resolutions. Handle floor calls from users and provide remote support for work from home users. Perform user onboarding activities and off boarding activities.

Role RequirementsAn IT qualifications is desirable An ITIL qualification is also desirable but not must. Basic knowledge of User & Active Directory administration in windowsStrong knowledge of Microsoft based operating systems and Office 365Relevant work experience in a similar IT environment with at least two years’ experienceFamiliarity with / experience of working within an ITIL environment. Familiarity with an ITSM tools, HPALMTechnical skills should include Windows 10, Active Directory, basic MS server, CitrixOffice 365 [email, Teams, SharePoint, Excel, word, PowerPoint], and The ability to answer laptop, iPhone, and printer related queries for OS and HW issues.
