Job Title: Full Stack Web Developer (70% Frontend / 30% Backend)Location: Bogota, Colombia (candidates must be based in Bogota)Work Mode: 100% Remote Employment Type: Independent Contractor (hourly pay, no benefits, and you’re responsible for your own taxes)Contract Duration: 6-Month (with possibility of extension)Work Hours: 40 Hours Per WeekRole Overview: This role involves coding from scratch and developing software systems or applications for enhancements and new products, including cloud-based or internet-related tools. The position focuses on both frontend and backend development with approximately 70% frontend and 30% backend.Experience: 5 – 7 yearsTime Zone: CST (USA)Interview Process:Two interview roundsNo coding testTechnical Stack:Frontend: React, Next.js, TypeScriptBackend: Golang, REST services, GraphQLDatabase: MongoDB or PostgreSQLOther Tools: Jira (ticket tracking)Responsibilities:Develop and maintain software systems and applications, including end-user and utility software.Conduct requirements gathering and analysis to understand software functionality, interfaces, and domain.Write code using programming, scripting, and database languages.Support software evolution through bug fixes, scope changes, and enhancements.Follow software development best practices including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.Complexity & Problem Solving:Learns routine assignments of limited scope and complexity.Follow standard practices to solve routine problems.Autonomy & Supervision:Receives general instructions for routine work and detailed guidance for new tasks.Work is reviewed frequently for accuracy.Communication & Influence:Build stable internal working relationships.Regularly communicates and seeks feedback from senior team members.Explain facts, policies, and practices within the discipline.Knowledge & Experience:Typically requires a college degree or equivalent experience.Has conceptual knowledge of theories, principles, and practices within the software discipline.
