Developed by the team behind InnReg, a trusted compliance consulting firm serving innovative fintech clients since 2013, Regly turns over a decade of hands-on experience into AI-powered tools for AML/KYC, marketing reviews, policy management, and more.Role OverviewWe are seeking a talented Full Stack Developer to join our team and help build the next generation of our RegTech platform. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining both front-end and back-end components of our compliance automation tools, working closely with product, compliance, and QA teams to deliver secure, scalable, and regulatory-compliant solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain full-stack features for Regly's AI-powered compliance platform.Build responsive, intuitive user interfaces that simplify complex regulatory workflows for compliance professionals.Develop robust backend APIs and services to support AML/KYC automation, policy management, and marketing review functionalities.Collaborate with compliance experts to translate regulatory requirements into technical specifications and product features.Implement and maintain integrations with third-party data providers, financial systems, and regulatory databases.Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards.Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, security, and adherence to architectural guidelines.Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability across the full stack.Work with QA engineers to develop comprehensive testing strategies and resolve defects efficiently.Ensure data security, privacy, and compliance with relevant regulatory standards (e.g., SOC 2, GDPR, FINRA, SEC).Contribute to database design, optimization, and maintenance for handling sensitive compliance data.Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and release planning.Stay current with emerging technologies, frameworks, and regulatory trends in the RegTech space.Support production deployments and provide technical support for critical issues.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).4–6 years of professional experience in full stack development, preferably in RegTech, FinTech, or compliance-driven environments.Strong proficiency in backend development with PHP and Laravel framework (2+ years of Laravel experience required).Solid experience with frontend technologies including JavaScript, React/Next.js, Tailwind.css, Material UI and ShadCN UI.Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.Proficient in relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and writing optimized SQL queries.Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and collaborative development workflows.Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker).Strong understanding of AWS S3 functions. Understanding of security best practices including authentication, authorization, data encryption, and secure coding.Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex technical issues across the stack.Experience working in agile/scrum development environments.Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.Interest in or understanding of regulatory compliance, financial services regulations, and risk management concepts.Nice to HavePrevious experience building RegTech, compliance software, or financial crime prevention toolsExperience with Python for data processing, automation, or AI/ML integrationFamiliarity with natural language processing (NLP) or AI/ML frameworks for regulatory automationKnowledge of FINRA, SEC, BSA/AML, or other financial services regulationsExperience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis) or data warehousing solutionsFamiliarity with project management tools like Asana or JiraContributions to open-source projects or personal portfolio demonstrating technical expertiseExperience with real-time data processing or event-driven architecturesBenefitsCompetitive compensationFlexible working hoursOpportunity to shape a rapidly growing RegTech productCollaborative and supportive team culture
