About Ekkie.aiEkkie.ai is building the future of IT automation.Our AI allows support engineers to solve tickets by simply talking to it — tasks like creating users, managing mailboxes, or dispatching requests that normally take 20–30 minutes now take under 5.We’re already working with Managed Service Providers (MSPs) across the Netherlands and scaling fast throughout Europe.2025 was validation.2026 is acceleration — our goal: €1M ARR, a rock-solid product, and expansion into Belgium and Germany.The RoleWe’re looking for a Founding Engineer (Full-stack) who wants to own the product technically from day one.You’ll build the core architecture, shape product decisions, and lay the foundation for a scalable AI-driven SaaS.You’ll work directly with Jillian Dubbeling (Founder & CEO) and will be the technical backbone of the company.What You’ll DoBuild and own the architecture for Ekkie Chat, Dispatching, and Labeling.Develop APIs, integrations, and real-time logic for client systems (Autotask, ServiceNow, etc.).Work with the AI Engineer to embed automation and reasoning into real workflows.Handle full-stack development (backend + React/Next.js front-end).Set up engineering processes: CI/CD, testing, and deployment pipelines.Later — help grow and lead the development team as we scale.You Are4–8 years experience as a Full-stack Engineer (Node.js, TypeScript, React).Comfortable designing and building from scratch — not just maintaining.Strong understanding of APIs, data flow, and system scalability.You like startups: small teams, ownership, fast iteration.You care about product experience — not just code quality.Ideally some background in automation, SaaS, or AI-driven products.Tech StackNode.js / TypeScriptReact / Next.js / TailwindPython (for AI/automation components)Azure / AWSPostgreSQL / MongoDBOpenAI / LangChain / custom LLM logicWhy Join Ekkie.aiBuild from zero to one: this is the core team that defines the product.Growth path: this role can evolve into CTO as the team scales.Competitive salary Impact: every line of code affects real MSPs and engineers daily.Culture: no bureaucracy — just smart people solving hard problems fast.How to ApplySend a short intro or your LinkedIn/GitHub to Jillian DubbelingTell us about a product or feature you built end-to-end — we care more about real impact than buzzwords.
