Our Django-powered web app streamlines every part of the property management process, from tenant onboarding to rent collection and we’re looking for a talented developer to help shape our product and technical roadmap.The RoleWe’re looking for a Full Stack Python Developer who’s passionate about building robust, scalable products and isn’t afraid to shape the technical direction of a fast-growing startup.You’ll work across the full stack, from backend services to front-end interfaces, driving innovation and reliability in our product. As one of our early technical hires, you’ll have real ownership and a voice in the product’s evolution.Key ResponsibilitiesBack-End DevelopmentDevelop, enhance, and maintain our Django-based backend.Write clean, efficient, and testable Python code.Design and optimise APIs for performance and scalability.Front-End DevelopmentRefine and modernise our JavaScript codebase.Improve UI/UX in collaboration with stakeholders.Introduce and evaluate modern frameworks (React, Vue, Angular, etc.) where beneficial.Enhance styling and responsiveness with Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap, or similar frameworks.AI & InnovationExplore and implement opportunities to integrate Generative AI and ML frameworks (e.g., OpenAI API, LangChain, Hugging Face, TensorFlow) to enhance automation, insights, and customer experience.Contribute to the design of AI-driven tools that simplify workflows for property managers and tenants.Collaboration & StrategyWork closely with the founding team to plan, prioritise, and execute key development initiatives.Contribute ideas to improve processes, architecture, and product direction.What We’re Looking ForTechnical Skills5+ years of full-stack web development experience (or equivalent project portfolio).Proficient in Python and Django.Strong JavaScript skills, with an understanding of modern frameworks.Experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.Familiarity with AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda) and web app hosting.Experience with Generative AI, LLM frameworks, or AI API integration.Soft SkillsSelf-starter who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment.Clear communicator who can work effectively with technical and non-technical teams.Creative problem solver with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.Why Join UsImpact & Ownership: Play a key role in shaping the product and setting the technical direction.Growth: Opportunities to expand into leadership, AI integration, and system architecture.Collaboration: Work closely with the founders in an open, high-trust environment.Flexibility: Hybrid working setup tailored to your lifestyle.Startup Energy: Build, iterate, and innovate quickly - your ideas matter here.
