We ship early and often, and learn from our experiences.What you will doIn the role of Full Stack Web Developer, you will develop, deploy, and maintain the frontend and backend of one or more of our web applications in use by millions of people worldwide. Opportunities to show off your skills will vary across projects, and may include for example: designing the high-performance caching strategies for high-volume APIs, building React applications from scratch, or optimizing GitLab CI/CD deployment pipelines.Who you areYou have at least 5 years working as a Full Stack Developer, Software Engineer, or similar role.You have at least 3 years experience building, deploying, and maintaining both the frontend and backend of modern web applications.You have at least 2 years experience working extensively in JavaScript/TypeScript code bases.You have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug complex issues effectively.You have a solid understanding of the uses and limitations of the standard building blocks of web services, e.g. REST, databases (relational and document), caches, message queues, serverless/server-based, transfer protocols, etc.You have a strongly rooted security mindset and the proclivity to build securely by default.You have experience collaborating with other developers in shared code bases, acting as a reviewer for others as well as having the ability to structure and explain your own code changes concisely.You have a proven ability to plan, execute, and complete development projects, both independently and in collaboration with others.You know when it's the right time to accept technical debt and when it's time to pay it off.Bonus if you have:Experience building B2B SaaS platformsExperience building enterprise servicesExperience working in start-up or scale-up businessesToolkitGoogle Cloud Platform (Firebase, Firestore, AppEngine, Cloud Functions, PubSub, Memorystore, etc.)Amazon Web Services (EC2, CloudFront, S3, Lambda, RDS, Route53, Elastic Beanstalk, SQS, ElastiCache, etc.)MariaDB/MySQL, PostgreSQL, BigQueryJavaScript/TypeScript (Node.js, React, Webpack)HTTP Live Streaming (HLS), WebRTC, WebSocketBash/Dash, Docker, Git, GitLabWooCommerce and Shopify for demositesGemini CLI, OpenAI APIs, Lovable, CursorWhy Join Bambuser?We combine the impact and pace of a scale-up with the creativity of a startup.
