Full Time Caregiver

At Avenues Home Care, our caregivers are our front line and most common representative. As a Full Time Caregiver, you will be caring for the elderly, vulnerable, disabled and most often those that cannot care for themselves. You are required to keep the client’s needs above all else and perform the following duties with the utmost care. This program allows us to assess and understand our clients’ needs so that we can provide the best care possible. Our caregivers are trained in the Avenues Home Care Way to ensure they meet our high standards of service.We take great care in matching the right caregiver to the right client. By using behavioral assessment tools, we gain insight into our caregivers and match that to the needs and desires of our clients.Full Time Caregiver Primary ResponsibilitiesAssist the client with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as specified in the client’s plan of care created during in-take. Those activities may include but are not limited to: bathing, dressing, grooming, other personal hygiene, toileting, transferring, eating and continence care.Assist with medication assistance, housekeeping services, laundry, meal preparation, feeding, shopping, transportation to and from appointments and companionship.Other household tasks as specified in the client’s plan of careTo report daily activity to your supervisor through the agency management system and daily activity logs.
