You will be required to write reports and investigate routine incidents, as well as respond to coded emergencies in a quick and efficient manner. You should display excellent customer service skills and be able to work with people who are under stress or in need of medical assistance. In this role, it is essential that you are physically fit and able to stand and walk for long periods of time.Job DutiesResponsible for ensuring the safety and protection of property, persons and information Tasked with patrolling property on footEffective communicationMonitor CCTV systemRespond to calls for service in a timely and urgent manner (may be required to run) Attention to detail Report writing, deploying and collecting equipment such as Radio's and KeysManage high stress and complex decision makingKnowledge and enforcement of Trespass to Property Act (TPA)Enforce mall Code of Conduct in compliance with TPA PrerequisitesValid Ontario Security Licence Standard First Aid, CPR Level C Working knowledge of the Trespass to Property Act and Mental Health Act Superior written and verbal communication skills Demonstrated punctuality and reliability, tact and diplomacy Must be able to provide certifications in Use of Force (UOF) and Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB) Applicants lacking these certifications can opt into Paladin's UoF/MOAB training program prior to their onboarding training to ensure they meet the requirements of the position Please be aware: The UoF/MOAB training is not paid as it is a pre-requisite; however, Paladin will cover all of the costs of the training with a 6-month commitment to the position/availability Authorized to legally work in Canada Why choose Paladin?
