ResponsibilitiesJoin our team as an Audit Manager with Education experience and become part of a team that values authenticity, inclusivity, innovation, and professional growth. the Audit Manager will be responsible for:Supervising engagement team and preparing end-of-engagement evaluations for staffMonitoring and reporting regarding the productivity of staff, and adherence to work plan schedules on each assignmentKeeping lines of communication open with staff and clientsKeeping abreast of all industry developments and ensuring professional development through ongoing educationContribute to the firms thought leadership efforts in the Education practiceAnticipating and addressing client concerns, and escalating problems as they ariseRecognizing and informing management of opportunities to increase level and types of services to clients and potential clientsReviewing all necessary financial statement and related disclosures and significant deficiencies letters, with an eye on quality, thoroughness, and accuracyLeading the engagement team with an emphasis on collaboration, flexibility and valuing the differences in othersQualificationsBachelor's degree in AccountingCPA preferred.5 - 7+ years of auditing experience with independent or charter schools with a Public Accounting firmStrong time management, organizational abilities, attention to detail, communication, and interpersonal skills are required.
