Fund Accountant – Alternative Investments (Private Equity & Real Estate) – M/FWe are seeking a Fund Accountant for one of our clients, an international financial services company located in Luxembourg. This position offers the opportunity to work within a multicultural environment and gain in-depth exposure to alternative investment structures such as Private Equity and Real Estate.Your Role : As a member of the accounting department, you will take part in the day-to-day accounting and financial control of investment entities. You will ensure that records are accurate, valuations are reliable, and reports are produced in a timely and compliant manner.Main Responsibilities :Maintain general ledgers and ensure all accounting entries are properly recorded.Process transactions related to investments, cash movements, and corporate actions.Prepare and review periodic valuations and Net Asset Values (NAVs).Reconcile accounts and portfolios with internal and external data.Prepare management and regulatory reports for investors and authorities.Support the audit process and liaise with auditors and service providers.Contribute to the enhancement of accounting processes and internal controls.Your Profile :Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.Minimum 2 years of experience in fund accounting, ideally within Private Equity or Real Estate environments.Strong technical understanding of accounting principles (LuxGAAP or IFRS exposure is a plus).Fluent in English; knowledge of French or German is considered an advantage.Proficient in Excel and comfortable working with accounting systems.Soft Skills : Strong analytical and organizational skills.Ability to work independently while maintaining a team-oriented mindset.Attention to detail and commitment to quality.Capacity to manage priorities and meet deadlines.If you are interested, please feel free to call Thibaut or Yana
