Bringing true, meaningful value to our clients and the communities we serve and creating a real sense of purpose for you.Job DescriptionThe Fund Accountant is responsible for ensuring that all investment decisions vis-à-vis settlement of trades on the Funds are carried out whilst ensuring that proper controls have been put in place.Job ResponsibilitiesPrepare settlement instructions based on investment decisions to the Custodians and ensure completeness.Upload the price list gotten into the system.Posting and execution of other trades and investments transactions across funds under management.Daily reports and cash reconciliation, assets reconciliation, payments and transfers out of funds and monthly reconciliation of the fund’s portfolio to the Custodians position.QualificationsType of Qualification: University DegreeField of Study: Finance and Accounting, and ACCA or ICAN or CIMA certificationExperience Required3-4 year's experience in Finance with product knowledge, effective communication, advanced Microsoft office skills – Excel, Word.Additional InformationBehavioural Competencies:Thinking PositivelyPursuing GoalsTeam WorkingMeeting TimescalesTechnical Competencies:Financial AnalysisCash ReconciliationPresentation SkillsEvaluation of Internal Controls
