As a Funding & Project Coordinator, you will guide large-scale hardware initiatives from initial funding opportunities to successful project completion. You will work alongside top experts across technical, financial, and leadership teams, and collaborate with academic, industrial, and public-sector partners. Your organizational skills and clear communication will ensure complex projects stay on track and that competitive proposals are submitted on time.What You’ll DoLead Proposal EffortsIdentify relevant funding opportunities and manage applications from start to finish.Coordinate input from internal teams (engineering, software, algorithms, finance) and external collaborators.Ensure proposals are submitted on time and meet the highest standards.Support Proposal DevelopmentDraft and refine funding proposals with technical insights and budget support.Translate complex scientific concepts into clear, compelling narratives.Coordinate ProjectsManage large-scale, hardware-focused projects once funded.Track milestones, deliverables, and reporting obligations.Ensure smooth collaboration among all partners.Serve as a Key LiaisonAct as the main contact for funding agencies, consortium partners, and evaluators.Maintain open, effective communication to keep projects on track.Who You AreDegree in Physics/Quantum ComputingBackground in quantum technologies or other deeptech sectors.Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.Able to explain complex topics clearly to diverse audiences.Fluent in English and German (written and spoken).Based in, or willing to relocate to, Munich.Bonus SkillsExperience coordinating publicly funded R&D projects.Familiarity with EU and German funding programs (e.g., Horizon Europe, BMBF, DLR, IPCEI, NATO DIANA).Knowledge of proposal platforms and grant reporting procedures.
