Description: Our UK-based client is a fast-growing logistics partner helping modern brands streamline their global fulfilment operations. With a flexible, tech-enabled network of logistics providers, they simplify complex eCommerce supply chains and provide agile solutions to support scaling businesses. As they expand their operational footprint they are seeking an Operations Support & Customer Service Executive to play a critical role in coordinating shipments, supporting customers, and driving operational performance across fulfilment centres and carrier partners. This is a remote position open to those living anywhere in South Africa. Duties & Responsibilities:
Manage shipment processing and status updates using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Excel, and internal platformsCoordinate inbound and outbound logistics with UK and EU 3PL (third-party logistics) partnersTrack and update the delivery status of orders from fulfilment centres, including customs clearance and final-mile handoversLiaise with couriers and last-mile carriers to ensure timely and accurate deliveriesRespond to customer service queries related to tracking, delivery delays, and order issues across the UK and EU marketsServe as the primary operations contact between customers and fulfilment partnersMaintain accurate records for all shipping activity and service level performanceEscalate performance issues with carriers and 3PLs and support the onboarding of new logistics partnersAssist in documenting and improving logistics processes and reporting KPIsSupport special projects such as cross-border expansion, peak season planning, and client implementationsSkills, Experience & Requirements:
2–3 years' experience in eCommerce, supply chain, or logistics environmentsProficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data tracking)Strong communication skills in written and spoken EnglishExceptionally organised, detail-oriented, and proactiveConfident working with remote teams and external suppliers across time zonesComfortable navigating dynamic logistics environments and problem-solving in real timeWillingness to work occasional weekends or public holidays Load SheddingApplicants must be able to ensure they can maintain internet and power during office hours.
