Having this strong team of employees, we can serve those who really need our product to make their lives better.The opportunity:We are seeking a highly analytical and motivated intern to join our Treasury team. This internship will combine expertise in foreign exchange (FX) trading with a strong focus on data analysis, including market data, customer transaction behavior, and the development of automated trading strategies and dashboards.What You Will Learn & Do:This is a practical, learning-focused internship where you will directly support our Quantitative Analysts by:Data Analysis: Assisting in the collection and analysis of market data and customer transaction patterns using SQL and Python.Strategy Support: Helping to develop and test models that inform real-time trading decisions and risk management strategies.Process Improvement: Learning and practicing your coding skills to automate data preparation for internal reports and dashboards (e.g., in Tableau or Power BI).FX Risk: Supporting the team with daily reporting and data verification related to foreign exchange (FX) exposure.Interest Rate Risk: Supporting the team with short-term investments of excess operational cash and client fundsHands-on Experience: Gaining exposure to complex treasury and trading workflows not found in traditional finance environments.Key Requirements:Being a 3rd-4th year student of Economics / Finance / Accounting / Mathematics or related area.Flexible availability during work hours.B2 and a higher level of both spoken and written English.Knowledge of SQL - ability to make basic queries.Good analytical skills.Ability to manage time effectively to meet testing deadlines.Being self-motivated and willing to learn new stuff.Interest in Financial MarketsWhat we believeAt TransferGo, we offer competitive rewards to all people.
