Critical Infrastructure Project Manager - Data Center Retrofit Project - Germany - FreelanceWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to lead a critical infrastructure retrofit project within a live data center environment in Germany. Contract: 12 month contract with opportunity to extendKey Responsibilities: Lead and manage all aspects of the critical infrastructure retrofit project within a live data center. Oversee the replacement and renewal of BMS elements, electrical infrastructure, switchboards, and other critical systems. Develop and execute detailed project plans, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets. Manage and coordinate with various stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment.

Oversee commissioning and testing procedures to ensure successful implementation. Track project finances and negotiate effectively. Apply a structured and patient approach to planning and execution, with a strong focus on detail. Essential Skills & Experience: Proven experience as a Project Manager in critical infrastructure projects, within data centers. Strong technical background in mechanical or electrical engineering (advantageous). Experience managing projects in live, operational environments. Proven ability in project management and finance tracking/negotiation. Understanding of turnkey projects and managing within grey space. Fluent in German and English (native or near-native). Desirable Skills: PMP certification (highly regarded).
