Our Associate program is a paid opportunity that allows participants to contribute to the organization’s success while at the same time applying learnings from the classroom. This semester we will continue with a hybrid program and will offer each participant the opportunity to gain in-office experience for approximately 3-days a week. Associates are responsible for their individual transportation and housing needs. Associate ExpectationsAll Associates are expected to work 24-29. 9 hours a week during the session.
While each Associate will be working with a specific division, they will have the opportunity to learn about other areas within Excel, through lunch and learns held throughout the semester. Important DatesOur Fall Program runs from Monday, September 22nd, 2025 through Friday, December 12th, 2025Office Hours9: 00 am‐6: 00 PM ET, Monday-Friday OR as agreed upon with advisor. Days in office must be coordinated with Advisor’s schedules. Our Associates MustBe available to work under 30 hours per week. Be available to report to the New York office approximately 3-days a week.
Have a senior standing in college (must have completed your junior year of undergrad) ORBe enrolled in a graduate school ORHave a bachelor’s or postgraduate degree. Interview ProcessApplications will close on August 22nd, 2025If selected, the expectation is that offers will be extended early September. The program will begin on September 22nd, 2025.
Hospitality Associate ExpectationsAssists Hospitality team with end-to-end client hospitality initiatives, from asset management to full client deliverables;Will learn how to build and maintain positive client relationships that result in increased reliance upon Excel;Will learn how to develop ideas for engaging event branding, collateral, and on-site materials;Will learn how to create planning tracking tools and on-site materials: rooming lists, confirmation documents, food and beverage schedule, transportation manifest, etc.
Assists in the management and data upload/tracking of client deliverables;Assists the Hospitality team with confidential client projects;Will gain a thorough understanding of the coordination and planning process of hospitality events and/or appearances for clients;Will learn the process of negotiation and execution of contracts;Will gain cross-functional exposure in the collaboration of client presentations and/or pitches; Will have access to the Excel team for industry advice and learnings;May occasionally be assigned projects outside the Brand Marketing group to gain exposure to other divisions within Excel;May be asked to travel for event work and provide on-site support for events outside of normal business hoursThe pay for this position is:
