Job Description

Our Associate program is a paid opportunity that allows participants to contribute to the organization’s success while at the same time applying learnings from the classroom. This semester we will continue with a hybrid program and will offer each participant the opportunity to gain in-office experience for approximately 3-days a week. Associates are responsible for their individual transportation and housing needs. Associate ExpectationsAll Associates are expected to work 24-29. 9 hours a week during the session.

While each Associate will be working with a specific division, they will have the opportunity to learn about other areas within Excel, through lunch and learns held throughout the semester. Important DatesOur Fall Program runs from Monday, September 22nd, 2025 through December 12th, 2025. Office Hours9: 00 am‐6: 00 PM ET, Monday-Friday OR as agreed upon with advisor. Days in office must be coordinated with Advisor’s schedules. Our Associates MustBe available to work under 30 hours per week. Be available to report to the New York office approximately 3-days a week.

Have a senior standing in college (must have completed your junior year of undergrad) ORBe enrolled in a graduate school ORHave a bachelor’s or postgraduate degree. Interview ProcessApplications will close on August 22nd, 2025If selected, the expectation is that offers will be extended early September. The program will begin on September 22nd, 2025. Speakers Associate ExpectationsAssist Senior Event Manager with all logistics (flights, ground transportation, hotels, restaurant reservations, etc. ) for confirmed Speaking engagements. Create Event itineraries and client briefings for confirmed Speaking engagements. Assists Speakers team in the management and tracking of Speaker events and client deliverables.

Assist Speakers Coordinator with the marketing and promotion of current speaker roster. Assist in researching and tracking industry trends and developments, including openings and opportunities for clients; this includes research of new buyers and lead generation. Assists in the creation and development of client marketing materials: one-sheets, bios and sizzle reels, including sourcing/logging of footage. Collaborate with other Excel divisions to promote clients and partnerships across different areas of the business. Gain knowledge and experience of the full lifecycle of Speaker management from initial outreach to final event execution. The pay for this position is: $16. 50 per hour.
