Job Description

Responsible for the General Assembly Process Engineering Activities in IAP region. - Create GA process in accordance with QCD objectives (Quality, Cost, Delay), reliability, security & ergonomics. - Ensure the definition and feasibility of product assemblies & perform GA product manufacturing feasibility studies- Propose and negotiate product optimizations to exceed QCD objectives and reliability.- Coordinate for GA Advance phase development & Execution for new Stellantis car models in IAP region Focusing on Control plan / PFMEA / Process sheets, validate / propose tooling changes for the new product adaptation in to the existing footprint.- Work with Suppliers for facility development focusing on end-to-end activity (Budgeting / RFQ / line builder selection / engagement / Installation & commissioning and prove out)- Collaborate with Product Development team to generate facility & tooling costs, improve quality, and reduce labour requirements. - Use virtual tools to evaluate the feasibility of new model designs for high volume manufacturing operations.- Write/modify/maintain process sheets and deliver updated Cycle Line Layouts.- Lead identification, resolution, and closure of Assembly and Machining feasibility issues.- Create and follow a master schedule for the design, build, and implementation of tools in your subsystem.- Lead assembly, body, machining, battery cell tooling installation, start-up, and commissioning at the manufacturing site. In addition, support tooling buyoffs @ vendor facilities.- Lead identification, resolution, and closure of all launch product and tooling issues.- Develop "Lessons Learned" from New Model launches and implement Prevent Reoccurrence Actions into future programs.- Support Department Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, People, Morale, Environment, and Innovation (SQDCPMEI) initiatives.- Interface with cross-functional activities (Product Development, Supplier Technical Assistance, Material Planning & Logistics, New Model Programs).- Lead General assembly Facility and Process planning for new model introduction.- Layout Preparation of general Assembly- Tooling, Jigs, Fixture, Pallets Design, Filling, Tester Equipment, Nutrunner, Assist Device, End of line Equipment- Equipment FMEA Creation- Execute Capacity Enhancement Projects, New Vehicle Projects.- CAPEX budget Preparation & Control for all Assembly shop Projects (Facility Perimeter)- Supplier Selection, Technical Specification creation, Installation & Buy off.- Handover to Serial life Production- Make technical manuals for Equipments, facility- Suggest Technical solution for Optimizing the Performance of Tools & Equipments- PLC Programming Knowledge- Making, Receive Technical reference for Sensitive Process from Design Department- Guarantee the best interfaces management with the other industrial departmentRequirements:Core exposure on General Assembly Engineering End to End.He should have industrialization experience on minimum one Model End to End cycle (Pre-study to Industrialization) in GA perimeter.He should have hands-on experience on Assembly shop layout & Material Flow in GA.He should know 3D software to study product and equipment CAD (CATIA),Auto CAD ,( if ROboCAD would be an added Advantage) Ability to add value, reduce costs and make business improvementsWork collaboratively, negotiate and engage with key stakeholders to facilitate delivery and compliance with the manufacturing strategyProactively work with product line management, engineering, service and other departments to incorporate best practices into the manufacturing environmentContribute to new business initiatives and projects and review and communicate the impact on manufacturing activitiesDevelop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal performanceExcellent communication, interpersonal, influencing skills, analytical and problem-solving abilitiesResults orientated with ability to plan and deliver against project deadlinesResilient, self-motivated and able to work well under pressureExcellent relationship management skills with the ability to engage, negotiate and manage key stakeholders and suppliersExperience - 5 to 12 years
