This role involves ensuring that all vines, gardens and trees are well maintianed within and without the Atrium. 90% of the work will be indoors.We would be looking for someone who is available once per week up to 6 hours.RequirementsKey Responsibilities:Maintain and care for all garden and landscaping areas around the hotel, ensuring they are well-kept and aesthetically pleasingPlant, prune, and trim trees, shrubs, and flowers according to seasonal requirementsMonitor plant health and perform necessary pest control and disease prevention measuresUtilize proper horticultural techniques, tools, and equipment safely and effectivelyMaintain records of plant care and inventory management concerning gardening suppliesAssist in landscape design projects and enhancements as requiredCollaborate with the maintenance team to ensure all outdoor areas are functional and cleanQualifications:Proven experience as a gardener or in a similar roleKnowledge of various types of plants, landscaping techniques, and horticulture practicesAbility to operate gardening tools and equipment safelyBasic knowledge of pest management and plant health carePhysical stamina and the ability to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditionsStrong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions effectivelyGood communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with team membersBasic knowledge of lawn care, landscaping, and maintenance tasksBenefitsJoin the largest hotel chain within Australasia, with unique staff discounts at all Accor properties worldwide and with their partner organisations.
