Job ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with Manufacturing Engineering and Maintenance team members to ensure effective teamwork and alignment on shared objectives. Provide continuous feedback to support team members in achieving their goals and improving performance. Responsible for the maintenance and continuous improvement of equipment and facilities. Ensure optimal performance of Garrett’s equipment by promptly resolving issues and establishing, managing, and executing periodic preventive maintenance plans. Propose and implement improvement ideas to enhance the performance, usability, and maintainability of existing equipment.
Use MOS to identify work items for technicians and provide guidance based on competency evaluations, ensuring a balanced and appropriate workload across the team. Provide clear guidelines and technical support to help team members independently resolve equipment-related issues. Leverage expert knowledge in Manufacturing Engineering and Maintenance projects to plan project schedules, identify preliminary requirements (e. g. , budget, resources), and collaborate with cross-functional teams to lead and complete projects on time. Assess the need for spare parts and maintain an optimal inventory to support timely repairs and sustain equipment performance.
Analyze and utilize existing data, such as equipment repair history, to proactively prevent potential issues and implement necessary countermeasures. Act as the primary auditee during system audits, develop appropriate responses and corrective actions for audit findings, and follow up to ensure timely resolution.
