GCP Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer

About the RoleWe are seeking experienced GCP Cloud & Infrastructure Engineers to design, build, secure, and maintain cloud infrastructure across mission-critical environments. The role requires deep hands-on expertise with GCP services, Infrastructure as Code, automation tools, and modern cloud-native engineering practices. You will support large-scale deployments, ensure resilience, and contribute to ongoing cloud modernization initiatives within a fast-paced enterprise environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDeploy, configure, and optimize GCP services including Compute Engine, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, Kubernetes Engine (GKE), and Cloud StorageDevelop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Google Deployment ManagerBuild automated CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery and operational efficiencyCreate automated systems to manage and rotate security keys, credentials, and secrets across infra and applicationsTroubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure issues, ensuring high availability and operational reliabilityImplement best practices for cloud security, performance, monitoring, and cost optimizationContribute to cloud migration activities and application modernization programsSupport cross-functional teams with cloud engineering guidance, documentation, and technical leadershipRequired Skills & CompetenciesStrong hands-on experience with GCP compute, networking, serverless, containerization, and storage servicesProficiency in Terraform, Ansible, or Deployment ManagerExperience with DevOps and CI/CD tooling (Cloud Build, Jenkins, GitOps, etc.)Strong shell scripting or Python experienceSolid understanding of IAM, secrets management, and cloud security best practicesAbility to troubleshoot distributed systems and container workloadsIdeal Candidate ProfileHighly analytical problem-solverStrong attention to detail and operational disciplineComfortable working in fast-moving, high-availability cloud environments
