Project Buyer – Electronic Components

Responsibilities / TasksAt our office in Søborg, Denmark, you will join a collaborative and professional procurement environment together with 18 dedicated colleagues. As the Project Buyer, you will manage tactical sourcing activities for your category – from supplier selection and negotiation to order execution and ongoing supplier performance. You will be the key link between engineering, project management, and the supplier market, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing of quality components and services.

Specifically, You WillLead the tactical sourcing process for electronic components and related services across multiple projectsEnsure timely execution of purchase orders and follow up on confirmations, serving as the primary point of contact for suppliers in daily operational mattersManage supplier relationships, performance, and contract complianceMonitor market trends, identify risks, and recommend proactive mitigation strategiesContribute to category strategy development in collaboration with Global ProcurementCollaborate closely with internal stakeholders including Global Direct Procurement, Automation, Quality, and Project ManagementSupport continuous improvement in procurement processes and tools.

Your Profile / QualificationsWith solid negotiation skills and a commercial mindset, you are comfortable engaging with suppliers and internal stakeholders alike. You are furthermore collaborative by nature, yet confident in taking ownership and driving decisions forward. Finally, We Imagine That You BringMinimum 5 years of relevant experience in project procurement or strategic sourcing, preferably within electronics or technical categoriesProven ability to manage complex supplier relationships and contractsExperience working in a project-driven, cross-functional environmentExcellent communication skills in English (both written and spoken) – Danish or additional languages are an advantageA degree in procurement, supply chain, engineering, or similar.
