You will function as the primary interface between local operations and the FICO and Tax & Customs departments at HQ Hamburg for any financial inquiries.

In particular you willmanage financial controls and processes related to logistics, retail activities, and administrative accounting functions, including resolving invoice discrepancies for incoming goods oversee reconciliation of all means of payment, including cash handling, credit card transactions, vouchers, and online payments. ensure correct cost center allocation, verification, and approval of incoming cost invoices. collaborate with the Finance HQ for year-end closing activities, including audits and supporting financial reporting processes. manage income tax matters and coordinate tax audits with local tax consultants, acting as the key contact for tax and customs authorities.

ensure compliance with internal financial guidelines and policies, addressing operational financial queries to ensure smooth service delivery at HQ. Preferred ProfileA bachelor's or master's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, coupled with proven experience in financial management, accounting, and tax compliance. Ideally, you have experience in handling import customs in Iceland, and a customs license is a plus. Excellent command of English and Icelandic, both written and spoken, to effectively communicate in a global environment. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail, enabling you to navigate complex financial scenarios with ease.

Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration and teamwork. Ability to work independently and efficiently manage multiple financial tasks.
