Someone who understands the tech, sees the patterns and wants to build the next generation of intelligent infrastructure.What you will doAs a GenAI engineer, you build the core components that power our GenAI solutions. You work on everything from ingestion to inference, across scalable cloud environments. Together with our consultants and clients, you turn business needs into smart, usable and production-ready systems.You willWork closely with AI consultants and clients to solve real problemsSet up infrastructure using containers, APIs and serverless componentsPreprocess, chunk and structure unstructured data for optimal use in prompts and context injectionDesign, build and deploy AI-based applications in the Microsoft Azure cloudConfigure and manage vector databases such as Pinecone or Azure AI SearchImplement retrieval-augmented generation flows using vector databases and embedding modelsDevelop orchestration logic for multi-step agents and tool-using language modelsMonitor system performance, latency, accuracy and costApply data privacy and security best practices across all layersExplore new GenAI frameworks and contribute to our engineering standardsAdopt AI-tools such as Cursor and MCP's to enhance your productivityWhat you bringYou have a strong technical foundation and a curious mindset. You are eager to build real things and see them used in the world.A degree in AI, Data Science, Computer Science or a related fieldStrong Python skills and experience/interest in building end-to-end applicationsA good understanding of machine learning principles and data analysisFamiliarity with LLM frameworks such as LangChainUnderstanding of embedding models and how vector search fits into retrieval-based systemsWorking knowledge of cloud environments such as Azure, GCP or AWSFluent in Dutch and EnglishThe kind of Rebel we are looking forYou want to build things that work.
