General Affairs_IT Leader (Senior) Organization DescriptionSFOC was established in South Korea in 2016 with the goal of most effectively reducing greenhouse gases in line with the Paris Agreement's target to limit the global average temperature increase to within 1.5°C.Under the mission of 'Accelerating the Global Transition to Renewable Energy and Phasing Out Fossil Fuels,' we continuously identify and expand on the most urgent issues that need to be addressed to combat the climate crisis. By collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders, we promote tangible change.SFOC currently focuses on three major areas: Fossil Fuel Phase-Out, Industrial Decarbonization, and Renewable Energy Expansion. To drive effective climate crisis response, we employ a variety of tactics including research, communication, diplomacy, legal action, and civil society alliances.Believing that 'People' are the key to tackling the climate crisis, we work alongside experts from various fields to engage in climate action. SFOC embraces a creative approach, unrestricted by conventional strategies, to find solutions.We collaborate with partners in Korea, other parts of Asia, and around the world. Team Introduction The General Affairs Team is a core department that ensures the stable day-to-day operations of SFOC by enhancing the sustainability and efficiency of the organization's infrastructure and work environment.The IT Officer will oversee all company-wide IT assets, accounts, and information security systems, while leading the development of long-term IT strategies and technology policies.We are looking for someone with in-depth experience across the Microsoft 365 ecosystem—including Microsoft Intune, Entra ID, Teams, SharePoint, and Purview—and a strong interest in IT security and user-centered system design.The role will be responsible for establishing internal IT policies, managing data protection and security infrastructure, and responding to IT service requests, ultimately playing a key role in driving the organization's digital transformationJob Description Organization-wide IT Asset Management & Operations Establish and manage IT asset operations across the organization Setup and policy deployment for new hires and existing staff Full lifecycle management of Windows/Mac laptops (replacement, repair, inventory/disposal/sale) Manage monthly Windows updates and OS upgrades Microsoft 365 System Administration Manage account lifecycle: new user setup, deactivation, license retrieval/reassignment Maintain Teams-based org structure and permissions, group mail creation and membership Apply and monitor policies using Intune, Entra ID, and Purview *Information Security Policy & Incident Response Respond to security incidents and detect/block malware Implement and track monthly security score improvement tasks (2–3 per month) Operate annual security pledge and training programs, and biannual phishing simulations Manage document classification and labeling policies Establish and operate company-wide data retention policies Internal IT Support & Communication Create IT usage guides and documentation (Notion-based) Operate help desk and respond to user requests Manage main office phone and email accounts, and support online meeting setup Manage operational assets like domains, hosting, and SaaS accounts IT Strategy & Technical Leadership Propose IT infrastructure improvements and formulate long-term strategy Collaborate regularly with external security partners Review and pilot new technologies and policies Office Management Support Additional duties related to office operations may be includedKey Skills And QualificationsProven experience managing IT infrastructure in diverse OS environments (MacOS & Windows) Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 admin console, Intune, Entra ID, and Teams architecture Experience managing device and account lifecycles High sense of responsibility and structured problem-solving skills Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment and prioritize tasks effectively Clear documentation and communication skills with organization-wide perspective Solid understanding of information security principles and incident response Collaborative mindset with understanding of how IT supports other functions within General Affairs Language Requirements Korean: Native or full professional proficiency in verbal and written communicationEnglish: Proficient in communication with external vendors, document reading/writing, and internal sharingExperience Requirements10+ years in IT service operations and user support 3+ years in a leadership role Experience using Microsoft Intune or other MDM tools (both MacOS and Windows) Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 systems (Teams, SharePoint, Azure AD, etc.) Preferred QualificationsExperience in IT policy development, security compliance, and audit response Experience automating IT workflows using Power Automate, PowerShell, etc. Understanding of nonprofit/public interest IT environments Experience proposing and implementing IT strategy from an organizational perspective Experience in global IT service operations (supporting international branches or multinational organizations) Fluent in spoken and written English with strong communication skills Required Application DocumentsEnglish or Korean Cover Letter and Resume (PDF) Employment Type 1-year contract, renewal based on team feedback, with a review for permanent employment after 2 years of continuous service.
